    daynawashere: Top 5 Shows I’d Recommend to Everyone (suggested by letseyx):#5 - Pushing Daisies I fell in love with this show in the first minute. It’s whimsical, it’s hilarious, it’s perfect. It’s everything I love about television: rapid-fire dialogue, murder mysteries, Kristin Chenoweth being amazing in every way, an incredibly sweet love story, random musical numbers, eyepatches, synchronized swimming, bright colours, brilliant narration from Jim Dale, and absolutely everything else. This was a show for me to look forward to every week because it would always, always make me happy. I think everyone’s life could use a little bit more joy and this show provides it. ♥

    ‘Pushing Daisies’ star, ‘Law & Order’ vet join HBO’s ‘Miraculous Year’

    Pushing Daisies    ‘ Lee Pace and ex-Law & Order ADA Linus Roache have joined HBO’s drama pilot Miraculous Year. Stark Sands (Generation Kill) has also been cast in a supporting role. Exec-produced by Oscar winner Kathryn Bigelow (who is also directing the pilot), Year is described as an examination of a New York family as seen through the eyes of a charismatic, self-destructive Broadway composer (played by Tony winner Eddie Redmayne). Hope Davis, Frank Langella, and Patti LuPone round out the cast.
