happy birthday, Crispin Glover - the dude is goddamned weird, no doubt about it. But his performances as George McFly in Back to the Future and as Layne in River’s Edge, at two ends of a completely strange spectrum, are enough to cement his importance in the cinematic firmament. You’d be hard-pressed not to enjoy his presence in At Close Range, What’s Eating Gilbert Grape, Charlie’s Angels (all that energetic fighting!) and Hot Tub Time Machine too. Happy 49th, Crispin!
